The cement block that held the arch of her heal was cold from the chilled winter night feeling the ice settle in. her toes curled at the edge, her heals dug into the opposing side to try to stable her. The ice of the deep night air stung her lungs as it entered her throat burning on the way down, filling the fleshly balloons in her chest. Her usually pale skin now tinted blue, purple pathways spider up her fragile arms, neck, chest, and eyes. the looking glass
